What to expect:The Vegas Club Hotel & Casino is popular with guests who want to stay in downtown Las Vegas, along the five-block Fremont St. Experience pedestrian mall. The small lobby area has photos of sports stars and, behind the desk, a large screen TV tuned to sports.
Amenity highlights:The 16-story two-tower hotel has a casino, a 24-hour baseball-themed restaurant, and sports memorabilia throughout. Hotel guests may also use the outdoor pool, tennis courts, and laundry facilities at the Plaza, across the street.
Insider tip: Five blocks from the hotel is Neonopolis, a large open-air entertainment center with 14 movie theaters, a video and skill-game center, a bowling alley, food court, and restaurants.

This sports-themed downtown Las Vegas hotel and casino is on the Fremont Street Experience, the five-block pedestrian mall featuring 2.1 million computerized lights and other entertainment. The twin-tower property has a 49,000 square-foot casino including 800 slots, video poker and keno machines, and three restaurants. Great Moments Room - Intimate dining room featuring steaks, seafood, and pasta. Open Thursday through Monday for dinner only. Reservations recommended.
Upper Deck - Baseball-themed, 24-hour restaurant on the hotel’s second floor. A home-style menu includes New York strip steaks and breakfast entrées during the wee hours, and all-you-can-eat baby back ribs on Wednesday evenings. A house specialty is the nine-pound “Big Daddy Burger.”
Seventh Inning Scoop - Located in the courtyard, this ice-cream parlor also offer pastries, coffee, hot dogs and pizza by the slice.
Mahalo Express - Hawaiian barbecue and other Island specialties, including Spam and eggs and fried mahi mahi.
Recreation
Guests of the hotel may use the recreation facilities at The Plaza next door, including an outdoor pool with sundeck and quarter-mile running track, tennis courts, and fitness room.
A bowling alley and a video and skills-games entertainment center is located at Neonopolis, five blocks from the hotel. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, with rock climbing, biking and hiking trails, and scenic drives, is about 20 miles from the hotel. Approximately 40 miles away is Mount Charleston, which has biking and hiking trails, horseback riding, skiing, and snowboarding. Various tennis courts, bowling centers, amusement centers and arcades, roller and ice-skating rinks, batting cages, and more can be found within city limits. There also are over 20 golf courses within easy access, including Desert Pines, Royal Links, Las Vegas National, Desert Inn, and Badlands.
